My first Veho warehouse visit started with about 45 minutes in line before I even got in. I had been interested in the possibility of making around $20 an hour. Standing outside the warehouse was a reminder that the pickup process belongs in that calculation too.
This is my October 2024 account of two early deliveries. I did not include a complete payout-and-mileage record, so I cannot turn those visits into a reliable hourly earnings claim. What I can describe is where the time went.

First visit: the queue ate into the day
There was a large line at the warehouse. Getting inside took roughly 45 minutes. That was time committed to the job before I had started making deliveries.
If you are comparing a route with restaurant or grocery work, find out what the route estimate actually includes. Then track the time from arriving for pickup through loading, delivery and the drive afterward. The advertised duration and the time you spend trying to earn money may be different.
Second visit: an empty line did not mean I could walk in
On my second visit, workers were handing out tokens in the back. I did not know that. I saw an empty line and thought the process had improved.
At the kiosk, staff asked for my token. I explained that I was new and had missed that step, and they let me in that time. The lesson was simple: ask where to check in before assuming an empty queue is an invitation to skip ahead.
That describes the process I encountered then. It is not a claim that every Veho warehouse uses tokens today. Follow the instructions for your current pickup location.
The work also ran longer than projected
I reported finishing a delivery about 30 minutes later than projected. The boxes I described were large and perishable. Between the space they occupied and the delivery commitment, this was not a good opportunity to squeeze in unrelated orders.
My original account also mentioned insurance and other deductions, without enough detail to establish a fee schedule. Check your own payout breakdown and ask support about anything that differs from the offer. I would not use that old remark to predict your current take-home pay.
What a warehouse delay does to the math
Illustrative example, not my recorded Veho payout: a $60 route completed in three total hours works out to $20 an hour before expenses. If a 45-minute pickup wait is additional to those three hours, the same $60 works out to $16 an hour before expenses.
That calculation isolates the waiting time. It does not include extra vehicle costs or combine my two visits into one trip. Use the time-and-mileage checklist with your own numbers.
How to sign up, and what the pay figure means
Use Veho’s official driver registration page; Veho says it follows up with onboarding instructions. Its app lets drivers review route earnings before booking.
Veho pays for successfully completing a route, rather than an hourly wage. An advertised hourly estimate does not promise that rate for all the time you spend. Compare the route payout with your complete pickup, delivery and return time. Official guidance checked September 10, 2026.
What I would check before accepting another route
- Pickup instructions: where to wait, how to check in and when to arrive.
- Vehicle space: whether the load fits without creating a disorganized pile.
- The whole time commitment: loading, stops and where the final delivery leaves you.
- Other commitments: enough room in the day for the route to run late.
For package types and preparation, read what Veho drivers deliver. My multi-app guide explains why comparing offers is different from accepting conflicting deliveries.
For a separate result with hours and mileage, see my reported $426 Spark day and 202 work miles. The article explains an unresolved difference between the trip estimates and the reported payout and count. It is not evidence of what Veho should pay.
Fuel costs belong in the comparison too. You can check nearby offers through my Upside referral link, but compare the final price and any extra driving before choosing a station. I may earn a reward if you sign up and qualify through my link.
